The Utah Jazz basketball team has announced a partnership with CoinZoom, a US-based cryptocurrency exchange and fintech company, to become its official cryptocurrency platform and NFT marketplace.
Through this partnership, CoinZoom will exclusively list all Jazz NFTs on its marketplace. Fans attending games at the Vivint Arena will be able to scan a QR code and purchase the latest Jazz NFTs using the CoinZoom app. The partnership will also feature CoinZoom signage in the arena, as well as promotions on social media, merchandise, trivia contests, and radio spots.
CoinZoom CEO Todd Crosland believes that NFTs will play a major role in growing and engaging the Jazz global fan base, and that the CoinZoom NFT Platform will provide a user-friendly experience and secure access to exclusive collectibles.
The Utah Jazz previously launched the JAZZXR program, which combined their first-ever digitally designed NFTs with a virtual locker room experience, and this partnership with CoinZoom will allow them to expand their NFT offerings and reach a larger community of Jazz enthusiasts.
CoinZoom is a digital asset exchange that offers services in buying, selling, and spending Bitcoin, Ethereum, and over 40 other digital currencies. They also provide a user-friendly NFT marketplace and a CoinZoom Visa card that allows customers to instantly convert crypto to fiat and spend it at over 53 million merchants globally.
The Utah Jazz, founded in 1974, are known for their excellence on the court, with nine division titles and two Western Conference championships. They also operate the Junior Jazz program, which is the largest and longest-running youth basketball league in the NBA.
