Music streaming platform, TIDAL, has announced the launch of a new video discovery feature, My Video Mix. TIDAL’s new video playlists are curated by TIDAL’s editorial team and programmatically recommended to users based on streaming habits.
TIDAL members can receive up to eight video playlists, depending on their audio and video streaming activity. Each mix is grouped by artists, genres, popularity, and the more frequently TIDAL is used the more rapidly it will rotate fresh content. New iterations of the individual video mixes can be saved and offlined for on-demand listening as a video playlist in the “My Collection” tab.
TIDAL already offers a diverse range of video content including over 250,000 music videos, documentaries, original shows, podcasts, live concert footage and more. TIDAL recently redesigned the apps UI, adding a dedicated “Videos” tab to the main menu, to help users discover this content.
My Video Mix is now available in the app, web player and desktop and via Airplay and Chromecast. My Video Mix will be available on Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Samsung, and Roku later this year.
