Casted, the marketing platform for branded podcasts, has announced $2.35M in seed funding from the High Alpha venture studio. The round was led by High Alpha Capital and included Elevate Ventures, Tappan Hill Ventures, and other leading SaaS angel investors.

The Casted platform allows marketers to host, distribute, and measure the performance of their branded podcast shows and episodes. Casted’s growing list of customers already includes notable brands like Drift, Pendo, Terminus, and LogicGate.

The announcement comes a week after another High Alpha portfolio company, Podchaser, raised $1.6M in seed funding for its podcast database and guest placement marketplace. Podchaser hopes its industry-leading database — ratings and reviews, shareable lists, detailed tagging, over four million creator and guest credits — will serve as a standard dataset for the podcast industry.
