SuperDuper, the studio behind the popular Cold Blooded Creepz NFT collection, has partnered with Immutable, the leading web3 gaming platform, to collaborate on an upcoming blockchain-based real-time strategy (RTS) game called Overlord. This collaboration will leverage the success of the Cold Blooded Creepz IP, which has generated over $220 million in total trading volume since its launch in January 2022.
The partnership aims to onboard millions of new users to the world of blockchain gaming by offering fast, accessible, and seamless experiences through Immutable’s tools, frameworks, and services. SuperDuper’s Overlord is an expansive IP that aims to erase borders between various forms of entertainment. It is managed by ThreeSixZero, an international management and entertainment company that owns Westbrook Entertainment. Overlord is also represented by WME, the world’s largest entertainment agent.
In addition, Overlord will collaborate with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, the Emmy award-winning production house founded by Seth Green, to create an animation using the Creepz IP for major streaming platforms such as Netflix. Furthermore, a clothing line in collaboration with West Brand Lab, led by ex-Nike, Lululemon, and Levis executives, is also in the works.
SuperDuper is co-developing multiple blockchain games with veteran game studios and a strategic game development advisory board. The first major partnership has been signed with Revolving Games, which is building a blockchain game for the mass market using the Overlord IP.
By leveraging Immutable, SuperDuper aims to enable lightning-fast and gas-free trading of digital assets across its entire web3 portfolio. The Overlord IP and SuperDuper brand ecosystem will be featured across all Immutable-integrated marketplaces.
The first playable Alpha of Overlord RTS is scheduled to launch in Q3 2023. Immutable, a global leader in gaming, is committed to bringing digital ownership to every player by making it safe and easy to build web3 games. The company offers pre-built solutions and multiple scaling options, including its rollup technology Immutable X and Immutable zkEVM powered by Polygon. Immutable Games, a subsidiary of Immutable, has developed successful web3 games like Gods Unchained and is currently working on the mobile RPG Guild of Guardians.
