Facebook has unveiled its new logo, an update designed to distinguish products that come from Facebook. In addition, Facebook will now distinguish the Facebook company from the Facebook app, which will keep its own branding.

The new logo was designed to be responsive to its context and environment, allowing the wordmark to take on the color of Facebook’s individual brands, creating a clearer relationship between the company and its products.

In June, Facebook began including “from Facebook” within all its apps and over the coming weeks, it will start using the new brand within its products and marketing materials, including a new company website.
